Engineers form the backbone of the development of any country. Their quality and efficiency are matters of high priority for an accelerated growth that India is envisaging.
About 1.5 million engineering students graduate every year from the various engineering colleges across the length and breadth of India. While the cream of the colleges have eminent faculty and facilities, other institutes are yet to gain that level.

Thus, a high percentage of these graduate engineers are deprived of the essential skills as well as the acumen that industries seek. This results in engineers graduating out becoming unemployable in their relevant areas.
